Use the plugin in three simple steps: complete the naming metadata, work with your Figma selection, then use the AEM metadata preview.
Fill in the required fields in Naming. Orange fields are required and still missing. Green fields are complete.
When the banner turns green, the filename is complete and compliant with the naming rules implemented in the plugin.
Select a frame to read its size or existing name. You can rename one or many selected frames, batch-number them, duplicate to the next version, or create a Section/Page structure.
Open AEM metadata. Fields marked auto are derived from the same naming metadata. Complete only the remaining manual/default fields needed for upload.
Year and month start with the current date and remain editable. Select brand, product and market; changing market sets its primary language. EN and a custom code remain available. Enter width × height in px or mm. Reading Figma dimensions sets px. Orange fields still need a value.
Copy filename places text on the clipboard. Rename selection applies the same name to every selected layer. Complete required fields and select layers first. Reading an existing name recognizes some components; review the form afterwards.
Under More Figma actions choose versions V01, V02… or suffixes 01, 02… and a starting number. Batch naming uses each layer’s dimensions in px. Duplicate + next version requires one layer, creates a copy and updates the Version field.
Create section moves selected top-level items on the current page into a section named after the folder. Page + Section creates a new page containing copies; originals remain on the previous page.
Review values and transfer them to the matching AEM fields. Auto comes from the form; default is a preset; suggested requires review; manual is your choice. Document file type suggests ZIP for packages, MP4 for video, PDF for print and PNG for graphics. The plugin does not inspect the exported file. A manual format stays active until Restore suggestion. Agency defaults to OTHER.
Tags are suggested from Naming data. Categories distinguish similar labels such as VUSE and Vuse. Expand Add or change tags and use search and filters. × removes a tag. Manual additions and exclusions persist across assets; Restore suggestions clears them. Copy paths provides full paths to find in AEM. Version is excluded.
Paid media files may use vendor-required names. For AEM delivery, a ZIP package named with the plugin convention is recommended. The plugin generates names and metadata; it does not export assets, create ZIP packages or upload to AEM.
S: 820 × 730, M: 1040 × 830, L: 1200 × 950. These change window size, not font scale. The active button reflects the actual viewport size. If resizing fails, close and reopen the plugin using manifest.json from the latest package; replace code.js as well as ui.html. A standalone HTML file cannot resize Figma. Action buttons are disabled when required data or an appropriate selection is missing.
